Winter 2018 Newsletter Highlights

Update from the Existential Analysis Canada Board

Dear EA Canada Members and Friends,

I send you warm greetings and a belated Happy New Year on this rather rainy day in Vancouver, BC. I trust that you enjoyed some rest over the holidays and that, for those of you living in the Lower Mainland of BC, you have not been washed away by the recent and incessant rain.

It is a great pleasure to bring to you some updates on the Existential Analysis Society of Canada.

Firstly – we are very pleased to once again be able to welcome Dr. Alfried Längle to Vancouver. Dr. Längle will be participating in the training of several cohorts, offering clinical supervision, and also giving a free public lecture on Thursday, February 15, from 7:00 to 9:00pm, in St. Paul’s Hospital. The lecture is entitled Nobody sees me! – On the Pain of Hysteria Existential Dynamics and Therapy of Histrionic Disorder and will be held on the Langley campus of Trinity Western University. We hope that you will be able to join us for this exciting event. As usual, our plan is to video-record the lecture, and we plan to make it available via our YouTube channel. Please see the announcement in this newsletter for further details about the location and to register…
